Castingofka is a Prague-based casting agency and talent database serving actors, extras, and models for film, TV, and commercial productions. The platform helps creatives register, build portfolios, and connect with producers through transparent, streamlined tools.
When the founders approached Humbl Design, they already knew about The Humbl Framework™ — and wanted to see what it could do at scale. Their goal was simple: rebuild the platform to be intuitive, consistent, and ready for the next stage of growth.
The Problem
The existing Castingofka platform had strong functionality but poor usability.
The interface was cluttered, the visual style inconsistent, and the overall experience felt dated.
Users had to constantly switch between a website and a mobile app — often losing track of where they were.
This created confusion, frustration, and ultimately lower engagement.

We began by identifying high-impact areas — the 10% of the platform where users spent 90% of their time. Instead of redesigning everything at once, we focused on where design could create the biggest change fastest.
U — Understand
We analyzed user behavior across both platforms, mapping the pain points for actors, models, and production teams.
Our goal was to uncover why users were dropping off and how to make every action effortless.
M — Make
We redesigned the core experience from the ground up — clean layouts, simpler navigation, and clear hierarchy.
The visual design was modernized without losing Castingofka’s creative spirit.
Every component served a purpose: clarity, speed, and trust.
B — Build
We collaborated directly with the internal tech team to ensure smooth implementation.
By using modular components and scalable UI patterns, the new system became easier to update and maintain over time.
L — Launch
After 3 months, the new platform launched — unifying web and mobile into one consistent experience.
Talent could now build profiles and showcase work easily, while casting professionals could find and manage talent without friction.
